Plan “B”, An Olive Press And The Pueblo Campell

After executing yesterday´s  “ Plan b”, I moved on to the pueblo Campell in the Vall de Laguar just below the Font de Gel. I don´t usally have much success photographing “Pueblos”  because it is very hard to get an authentic  look, due to cars parked everywhere, modern billboards and graffiti. So as I was about to leave, I turned a corner and found this wonderfully preserved olive press in a deserted street and devoid of cars.

Why it was hidden away from view  i´ll never know , lets face it it may be an olive press but it´s also a sculpture-and a very nice one at that! Why on earth did the town hall put it behind the church in front of the church hall that is always closed in a street that you never see-so much for town planning!

This is a full 3 bracket HDR tonemapped in Photomatix.
